Tuesday
Weird dream - I was drinking in some crappy bar where the local hard case wanted me to play cards with him.
I later told him I don't enjoy cards so he got upset, took it as I didn't like playing cards with him arranges for
me & someone else to get a right good kicking, so into this place surrounded by high stone walls comes a big
guy saying where are they, I try half-heartedly to climb the wall, but get pulled back with the guy kicking out
coming towards me and I wake up. In the dream I was aware of having a similar experience, so maybe I
dreamt something similar previously ?

Last night was David's school summer concert, he played well but the amplifier was too loud and really spoilt
what he did. Tonight I really should do some training, tomorrow up to Manchester and watch some tester try
for the hour record. As if some UK based time triallist will take the blue riband of cycling. Yeah, right.
Wednesday
Another wierd dream: Driving somewhere London way, wanted to find my way back along A5 but roads were
all wrong. Stopped in some town centre and roads were all wrong. Looked at things in a shop window, then
sort of woke up. My brain is odd.
Planned to train yesterday evening but didn't, had tea, then watched Takeshis Castle, was going out after that
finished at 19.00, yeah right. So watched an old episode of the Simpsons, just an excuse, put my nose out on
the patio, too cold so fuck it.
Thursday
Went to Manchester velodrome after work, up M42/M1/A57. Took 3 hours, 140 miles.
Then stopped in Brittanias with H. Drive down good this morning.

Monday.
Oh joy. Another week in Leamington. It could have been worse, it may well have been Watford !
Friday driving out of Rochdale onto the M62 took around half-an-hour, which set the scene for the rest of my drive. On the M56 there was an
accident, on the M6 the traffic was heavy so slow from J12 to the M5 turnoff. Arrived home at 7.30, too late for the track but I doubt if I would have gone after such a horrible drive.
David was really hyper after ahe arrived home from his trip, he was really buzzing with excitement. He rock climbed on Milestone Buttress on Tryfan and climbed Glyder Fach, did canoeing and went on a dry ski slope. And camped out one night. Excellent ! And he enjoyed it and wants me to take him
walking in the mountains ! No problem ! We'll go to Cadair Idris, Kinder Scout, Snowdon, the list is endless of places where I can drive to and from, plus do a 5/6 hour walk in one day. Maybe getting David up at 0400 might be a problem !
Saturday it was cool first thing, went out at 12.00. Rubery, Cutnall Green (Take care spelling that one) the gated road ! Last went along that in 1988 or maybe earlier ! Thats 15 years ago ! It does seem a long time back now. Then the narrow track from Wychbold. Went to Sainsburys got 3 bottles of beer and 1 of wine and some tea lights. Put the lights around the garden and sat out, but kept going in to watch Glastonbury on telly. Excellent. Saw Idlewild, with the singer seeming a little bit pissed.
Sunday lazed around in the morning, Dad for dinner then had the runs. Went out around Alvechurch, Storrage, by the motorway junction to Lakes. But near the end of the ride at the lane coming out on the Man-in-the-Moon road I had to stop and crap as it was really fizzing away. Ugh.
Felt pretty tired in the evening.
