Yesterday, now possibly today, I am supposed to get a new laptop. Its replacing the one I've had since the fun days at IR, back in September 2001. What a long time ago that seems now, when my only worries were how long will they have me there for ? Well, all good things came to end and, and me and my new laptop had to go elsewhere to earn a pitful crust.
Almost 4 years, and I feel quite attached, even though the hard drive went last November, the replacement is dodgy and my modular bay add-on drive went totally two weeks ago. Ho hum.
Going to the Revolution on Saturday evening, with Hazel. Now that will be interesting, how do I introduce her to any of my friends and other people I meet ? Hmmm. Ho, and indeed, hum.
